    Hello Frances,

Thank you so much for inviting me to join the forum. I'm pretty familiar with this type of bulletin board so navigation is pretty easy for me. I think adding the board is a great idea!

Prayer

by Webmaster on 02-05-2010 at 09:19 PM
A couple of years ago I read a book titled "Jesus for the Non-Religious" by Bishop John Shelby Spong. Spong is an interesting person with unique views on the new and old testaments, and specifically Jesus Christ. You can learn more about him by clicking here.

If I want to know what's on my mind, or how settled my mind is, I pay attention to what I'm thinking in the first few minutes after waking up. More often than not my mind is racing , thinking about my job, this site, my resentments, my family (aren't family and resentments the same thing? :-) )

As I make a coffee, I observe my thoughts and more often than not, they are not based in God. They are based in my own selfish desires. I read recently that desire is the source of all fear.

Here's a few snippets from it.

But Leon puts down in print some of the most important of the Oxford Group ideas which had so greatly influenced the early A.A. people, and he also gives an illuminating

Start my Blogging

by Webmaster on 01-26-2010 at 04:50 PM
I've been meaning to start blogging and today seems as good as any other. With my blog I hope to document my thoughts and experiences on living a spiritual life. Its a place for me to be myself, share myself, and post some things that I don't feel belong on the main site.

How I came to become the webmaster is a very simple story. I was listed as a contact on the older site, and that probably is what led to me getting an email saying the site was up for sale. I reached out directly
